Eighty-four dollars
a month sounds like nothing.
That's the trick.
SplittySplatty turns every "just $84/mo" into shifts you'll actually have to work, gives you a shelf to park the maybe-buys, and keeps a running tally of every overpay you refused. No account. No cloud. Just your phone, being honest with you.
Four tools. One goal: make the lender wait.
Every feature exists to slow down the tap between "want it" and "own it" โ long enough for your actual brain to catch up.
Overpay โ Shifts
Enter the price and the monthly bite. We convert the overpay into mornings you'd have to work for a lender โ not a number, a feeling.
The Other Road
See how long it takes to simply save up, side by side with financing it โ no lectures, just where the two paths cross.
The Shelf
Not sure? Park it for 3, 7, or 14 days. When the timer ends, the math re-runs against your month as it actually looks now.
Refusal Counter
Walk away from a plan and the overpay you dodged joins a running total โ the most satisfying number nobody else will show you.
Do the math before the shop does it for you.
This is a simplified preview of the in-app calculator. Real numbers, real shifts, right here.
๐งพ Set the terms
We build the friction that BNPL removed on purpose.
We're a small team that got tired of watching "just $X a month" quietly eat every paycheck before it even arrived. SplittySplatty started as a spreadsheet one of us built to stop lying to ourselves about a couch โ it's now the tool we wish existed the first time a checkout screen offered to split something into four easy payments.
Our mission is simple: break the spell that turns a $840 overpay into an "eighty-four dollars, barely noticeable" decision. Financing isn't the enemy โ the sleight of hand is. We just want you making the call with the full number in front of you, not the friendly-looking slice of it.
The app gives you three things a price tag never will: your overpay measured in shifts you'd actually have to work for it, the other road of simply saving up laid out next to the financed one, and a Shelf where anything you're circling waits out a cooling-off timer before you commit โ recalculated against your real month, not the one you imagined at checkout.
Every time you walk away from a plan, the money you didn't overpay joins a running total โ proof, in one number, of exactly how much smarter your slower self is than your checkout-screen self. Your figures never leave your device. No account, no sign-up, nothing to sync, nothing to sell.
Make the lender wait.
The shortest privacy policy is the one where nothing happened.
SplittySplatty was built to keep your numbers on your phone. This policy just says so in writing.

Information We Collect
None. SplittySplatty does not collect your name, email, location, device identifiers, or any personal information of any kind. The prices, wages, and payment terms you type into the overpay calculator, the Shelf, or the refusal counter are entered and read only on your own device โ we never receive a copy, because there is no server on our end waiting for one.
-
How We Use Information
We don't use anything, because we don't have anything. There is no analytics engine studying your shopping habits, no profile built from your Shelf items, and no algorithm nudging you toward or away from a purchase. The app calculates your numbers and shows them to you โ full stop.
-
Data Storage
Everything you enter โ sticker prices, monthly payments, items parked on the Shelf, your running refusal tally โ is stored locally on your device only. There is no cloud sync, no remote database, and no backup copy sitting on our infrastructure, mainly because we don't operate any.
-
Third-Party Services
SplittySplatty does not integrate third-party analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or behavioral trackers. No data is shared with, sold to, or accessible by outside companies, because the app never transmits data anywhere in the first place.
-
Data Security
Because your figures never leave your device, the biggest security question is the same one that protects any app on your phone: your device's own lock screen and operating system safeguards. We have nothing to breach on our end โ there is no SplittySplatty server holding your information.
-
Children's Privacy
SplittySplatty does not knowingly or unknowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13. Since no data of any kind is gathered, stored remotely, or transmitted, the app carries no data-collection risk for users of any age.
-
Your Control
There are no accounts to create, manage, or delete, because none exist. If you want to remove every trace of your calculator history, Shelf items, or refusal tally, simply uninstall the app โ everything lived only in its local storage and leaves with it.
-
Changes to This Policy
If SplittySplatty's approach to data ever changes, we will update this page with a new effective date and describe the change plainly, before it takes effect, inside the app.
